Millbrook Golfing Stangs hosted the Highlanders of the Frederick Gunn school at Millbrook Golf and Tennis Club. Neither coach expected too much as it was a chilly and windy day, as well as the first match of the year. Millbrook was not fazed by any of that and posted what we believe to be a school record for a 9 hole match, 184. The team was led by Casey Berninger, who was one stroke off the school individual record, and his 33, earning Medalist honors. Co-Captain Michael Contino shot even par 36. Andrew Moawad and CJ List both shot 38. Owen Kunschner was the fifth score used in the team scoring, 39. In his first competitive match for Millbrook, Gus Lee shot 40. Most years that score would have counted, but while it was not used in the total, it bodes well for the future. The tram takes on Kent and Canterbury in their match.
