Selina is a Vth former from Hong Kong. She’s worked at the zoo for two years now, and here’s what she has to say about her experience there:
1. What’s your favorite animal at the zoo?
"My favorite animal at the zoo and in general is turtles. I have a pet turtle at home. They're so cute, and when my turtle basks, when his limbs are out, he literally looks like Superman. I just think they're really cute."
2. What have you learned at the zoo?
"What have I learned is that even though the animals look really cute, people have to put a lot of effort into taking care of them. It's not easy to do it. And I’ve also learned to appreciate everything in life because it's really rare to be able to see a red panda or a red wolf."
3. What advice do you have for future zoo curators?
"My advice is not to take for granted all the opportunities we have at the zoo. And even if you're not feeling well one day, don't treat the animals differently, because they don't deserve to be treated based on how you feel."
