“Wait, You Do Duolingo Too???”
Jennifer, inspired by her own journey learning English, tested how far the Duolingo app could take her in Japanese—a language she chose for her love of the culture and dream of studying abroad in Tokyo.
After logging many hours and winning a Duolingo Diamond League Tournament, she showcased her skills by dubbing a Zootopia clip in Japanese for her presentation. Her dedication even inspired her father to start learning English to connect with other parents at Commencement.
