CES - Licette '25

A mainstay of Millbrook’s theater program and winner of the Christian Stehle ’91 Prize for Technical Theater, Licette wrote, cast, and directed her CES one-act, Beware the Ghost of David Belasco. 

Using Anna Deavere Smith’s documentary-style approach, she interviewed students involved in productions and shaped their insights into a play. Set amid the frantic final hours before a musical, the story follows tensions between a critical music director and an optimistic assistant director, as the cast and crew learn to appreciate the moment.
