Sarah works as a paralegal at an immigration and human rights law firm in  Washington, D.C., where she helps attorneys support clients through a wide variety of immigration cases and federal litigation. Her days are split between legal research, drafting case documents, and working directly with clients, many of whom are facing some of the most stressful moments of their lives, to make sure they feel informed and supported every step of the way.

Sarah arrived at her current role largely because of her experiences as a student at Millbrook, particularly the years she spent participating in Literacy Connections.

After graduating from Millbrook in 2017, she took a gap year in Toulouse, France, before earning a bachelor's degree in international affairs from the University of Colorado Boulder. She has now built a career centered on service: showing up and standing up for those who need an advocate.
