Visual Arts at Millbrook School

The visual arts offerings at Millbrook welcome all students—from confident artists to curious beginners. Our courses cover a range of traditional and contemporary media, including painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, sculpture, curation, and experiments in mixed media. Millbrook's own professional exhibition space, the Warner Gallery, plays a major role in our program as a crossroads where students encounter new artists and develop shows of their own works.

Curious students can try their hand at every medium as IIIrd formers. When they find the artistic expressions that truly spark their passion, advanced courses immerse them in their chosen specializations. They're guided by working artists and given access to professional facilities, including a darkroom, digital photo lab, ceramics studio, and wood-fired kiln. Standout drawing and painting students are even rewarded with their own studio spaces—a luxury most colleges don’t provide!
