As a winner of both the Sykes Mathematics Prize and the Science Prize, Sam is no stranger to the math and science classrooms, and Cornell was her perfect school match. The state of the art labs and handson approach intrigued her, and Sam felt perfectly prepared for the challenges ahead at this Ivy League school. Making her decision easier was the fact that Cornell has a riding team, and she will be able to board her own horses there. She attributes her growth in self-confidence and “finding her own voice” to her Millbrook experience, and it will be exciting to follow her growth at the next level and beyond.
