Charlie Weisberg '21
Loyola University Maryland
I chose Loyola Maryland to play DI basketball in a highly competitive academic environment. I’m eager for the independence and responsibility that comes with college and feel well prepared thanks to my time at Millbrook. The personal skills I learned at Millbrook, like time management, self motivation, and organization, will be invaluable to me in college and throughout my life.
Charlie frequently embodied John Wooden's teaching, ‘Be more concerned with your character than your reputation because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.’ Charlie worked diligently to be a person of high character in the classroom, in athletics, and in the dorms. It was a pleasure working with him for four years!
