  Bio

  JP is director of strategic recruitment in Millbrook’s Admission Office. A native of leafy Maplewood, New Jersey, he’s a Trinity-Pawling alum with nearly 20 years of experience in boarding school admissions, including stints at Brooks, Westover, and his alma mater. JP is a graduate of Wheaton College in Massachusetts, earning a bachelor’s in music and singing in the college choir and the male a capella group, The GCs. JP coaches squash in the winter and lives with his partner, Megan, and their children Joseph and Meredith, in Pawling, NY.

  Bio

  Devandria's love for independent schools started during her time as a student at The Hill School. Independent schools have always felt like home, and rejoining the school environment at the faculty level has been immensely rewarding for her. After graduating with a B.A. in psychology from Franklin & Marshall College, Devandria joined Millbrook in 2018 and is now Senior Associate Director of Admission & Faculty Engagement.

   

  With a desire to deeply impact schools, Devandria earned her master’s degree in education with a focus on school leadership from the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated in 2023.

   

  Outside of her offices, Devandria serves as a math instructor, an advisor, a coach on the girls' varsity basketball team, and the head of Prum Hall.

  Bio

  Garvin transitioned to Millbrook after a decade-long career as a collegiate basketball coach. Having recruited at many independent schools in New England over the years, when the opportunity to join the Millbrook family opened, it was an obvious decision for him.
  
  A native of Norwich, Connecticut, Garvin graduated from Post University in 2011 with a B.S. in sports management and then earned his M.S. in organizational leadership from Nichols College in 2017. 
  
  Garvin will coach basketball and track at Millbrook while also caring for students as a dorm parent in Prum Hall.
