CES - Grace '23

 

Grace revitalized a service program made dormant by Covid that connected Millbrook students with food-insecure clients in nearby Poughkeepsie. By recruiting classmates to work at the Lunch Box, a service that prepares and provides free meals for hungry people, Grace raised awareness of local hunger causes among the school community. Grace and her crew served over 400 meals over three visits and have hopefully re-established Millbrook’s connection with Dutchess Outreach.
