Dr. Daisy Glazebrook is a psychologist in private practice. She works with individuals and couples navigating relationships, narcissism, and identity, with a particular interest in how early experiences shape the way we understand ourselves and connect with others.
Daisy’s path to becoming a psychotherapist was not linear. She graduated from Cornell University, where she studied communications, was a member of the varsity crew team, and played in a rock band. After college, she began a career in fashion, spending nearly a decade in marketing at Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, and Theory. She eventually left fashion and took a year off to backpack around the world, an experience that led her to change career paths and pursue a longstanding interest in psychology.
Daisy earned her master’s degree in mental health counseling from Fordham University and her doctorate in counseling psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. Her doctoral research explored narcissism and how cultural forces, including technology, social media, and changing ideas about identity and success, have shaped the development of the self.
At the center of Daisy’s work is a curiosity about people: why we become who we become, how relationships and experiences shape us, and how greater self-understanding can create meaningful change. She especially values the combination of intellectual inquiry and genuine human connection that a career in psychology offers.
Outside of work, Daisy loves horses, sailing, gardening, and traveling to far-flung places.
