At Millbrook, leadership is hands-on. Students step into real responsibility at our AZA-accredited zoo, where community service becomes meaningful conservation work.

All students participate in our community service program that meets during the academic day for a total of two hours per week. All new students complete one season of community service at the zoo, and some choose to continue at the zoo for the remainder of their time at Millbrook. A select number of students go on to become zoo curators, who supervise their peers in caring for the nearly 200 animals that reside in the zoo's exhibits.
