Millbrook alumna Cynthia Flanigan will speak with students about careers at the intersection of science, engineering, and law. Cynthia holds a B.S. in chemical engineering, a master’s in information resources, and a J.D. from Syracuse University. Drawing from her experience as both a chemical engineer and a registered patent agent, she will explain how patents help companies protect inventions and why intellectual property is essential to innovation.

Cynthia will also share how a yearlong co-op program at DuPont through her college—and lessons learned at Millbrook—helped shape her unexpected and rewarding career path.
