I chose Emory because I wanted a school that wasn’t too small or too big, where I could build relationships with professors but still meet new people. Emory’s strong, happy community felt like the perfect fit for someone seeking the “work hard, play hard” experience. 

Millbrook has been key in building my confidence. Before, I doubted my academic abilities and myself in general. Here, I got involved, felt valued, and realized I am good at things. Millbrook also reinforced my values of giving back and helping others, and these things I’ll carry with me. I’ll miss feeling so valued, knowing everyone cares about your success, and the many resources we have here. I don’t think I’ll ever again be in a place where so many people care this deeply.
