Millbrook taught me to engage fully, and I’m excited to keep doing that at Vassar, meeting new people and embracing new perspectives. I feel super prepared, and I trust that Vassar, with its liberal arts and open curriculum, is going to help me transition smoothly. It’s a place full of passionate students who care deeply about learning, and I know I’ll find my place there, whether in theater, political science, or something entirely new. 

I’ll miss Millbrook’s faculty—they are as invested in our wellbeing as we are in our own, and our relationships go well beyond the classroom. They have taught me essential skills: engagement, presence, listening, and observing, all things that are especially important in a community like Millbrook.
