Corley is an emergency response and crisis management professional currently working as an Operations Specialist with the U.S. Department of Transportation. Her career has focused on helping people during emergencies, including work in emergency medical services (EMS), firefighting, search and rescue, and disaster preparedness.
Corley's journey really began at Millbrook School, where she transferred in as a IVth former. Coming into a new environment pushed her to grow quickly. She worked at the Trevor-Lovejoy Zoo and served as a dorm leader, which taught her responsibility, leadership, and how to support others—lessons she still uses every day.
After Millbrook, Corley attended Eckerd College, studying anthropology and minoring in leadership studies and biology. While there, she joined the EC-SAR search and rescue team, working alongside the United States Coast Guard in Tampa Bay and serving on the campus EMT team, responding to real emergencies. She is also a certified EMT and Stop the Bleed instructor and has completed FEMA training in disaster response and emergency management.
Today, she continues to build a career focused on helping others, preparing for emergencies, and making a difference in her community.
