Millbrook Falls in a Thriller

In its most physical game of the year, in which two players had to leave the game with injuries, Millbrook had a chance to win with less than 20 seconds to go, but could not make the game-winning shot. Several spectators commented on the courage and hustle with which the Mustangs played against a tough and experienced Westover team. Morgan Davis '13 played an inspired game, scoring 17 points, picking 18 steals, and adding 3 assists. Caroline Whalen '14 added 9 points. The story of the game, though, was Millbrook's defense. Bria Horsley '14, Kayla Schmalz '14 and Gianna Muscari '15 led the way, hitting the floor and pressuring the Westover ball-handlers.
