Millbrook vs. Suffield

Millbrook let one slip away today against Suffield.  Despite good offensive performances from Luke Alletzhauzer ’11 (2-4, 2r, 2sb), Captain Jim Heffernan ’09 (2-4, double, 2 rbi) and Matt Foster ’09 (2-4, 2rbi), we ran ourselves out of two innings and couldn’t push across any runs in the final innings.  Harrison Gostfrand ’11 pitched well as the starter, and Luke Alletzhauser did a fine job in relief as we threw enough strikes and first pitch strikes to be successful.  We look forward to getting on the field again, continuing to minimize our mistakes and play a solid game against division rival Canterbury this Saturday.
