Golf can be cruel, and just when you think you have it figured out, golf reaches back and smacks you down. Riding on the excitement of their performance Monday, the golf team traveled to Stonybrook golf club to take on Canterbury and host Kent. The signature characteristic of the course is small and sloping difficult greens. Millbrook was led by Casey Berninger who shot 42 on the par 34 lay out. IIIrd former, Gus Lee, was close to Casey with a 43. Andrew Moawad also shot 43. Captain Contino got around the 9-hole track in 45 and CJ List carded a 48. Owen Kunschner's score was not used in the team total. Congrats to Canterbury who posted an impressive 189. The team will be looking for redemption when they travel back to Litchfield to take on the Gunn Highlanders again in their next match.
