Millbrook School is pleased to be hosting its summer sports camps again this year. With the squash and lacrosse camps currently in progress, Millbrook’s campus is bustling with activity.
Always popular, the summer squash camp is open to anyone aged 5-13, at all levels of play. The campers this summer are the first group to enjoy Millbrook’s newly expanded squash space. With the addition of four new international squash courts, there is more than enough room available for the drills and games Greg Reiss, director of racquet sports and camp director, has in store for them.
Many campers have been returning yearly because of the experienced and passionate counselors. Notably, two of the counselors, Greg '15 and Heidi '16, are Mr. Reiss’ own children and current Millbrook varsity squash players. As if having the best courts and staff are not enough, the camp experience is enhanced by opportunities to play tennis, basketball, and soccer.
Millbrook is also hosting the Trilogy Lacrosse overnight camp, open to campers in grades 6-11, again this year. The camp directors are both accomplished athletes and excellent coaches. Staying overnight allows the campers to have full access with coaches, both on and off the field, at all hours of the day. Their expertise allows for individualized coaching for each camper, which ensures that every camper goes home with the knowledge of all lacrosse fundamentals.
The campers participate in many activities ranging from one-on-one instructions to full-field scrimmages. They also enjoy the other accommodations Millbrook’s campus has to offer including basketball and other sports and activities. Many Trilogy Lacrosse campers both past and present have even joined the Millbrook School post-camp, continuing their success both athletically and academically.
To join the fun, registration information about the summer squash camp, lacrosse camp and Millbrook’s other summer camps can be found on our camp page.
