Millbrook vs. Hotchkiss

In one of our few non-conference games, we eventually succumbed to Hotchkiss.  Everyone got in the game including Andrew Hughes ’10 who picked off a runner at first with a good move, Kevin majestic ’10, and Lance Legister ’11 who started.  In addition, two of our catchers tried our new positions as Grayson Voges ’12 played some second base, and Joseph Kreta ’10 found himself in left field where he made a nice play on a sinking liner.  Another nice play was made by Luke Stuckey ’09 as he dove to catch a ball in the gap.  Captain Jim Heffernan ’09 played particularly well as he made some great plays at first and hit his first double, a bomb to right center.  John McCulla continued his torrid hitting going 3-4 with two doubles.
