Girls Cross-Country at Canterbury Invitational
Millbrook Girls Cross Country is a smaller team this year, as a result of losing six seniors, as well as Ema Waldschmidt to an ankle injury this summer. Ema is on the mend and looking towards hockey season! However, this year’s runners are committed, supportive, and improving.
Millbrook competed 4 girls in a large and competitive division II race, two runners racing for the first time. Captain Eliza Cowen’10 limped through knee pain to finish strong, and Patsy Bitter ’09 kept the two new racers, Allison Smith ’09 and Kelton Sheridan ’11, running till the end.
