Millbrook vs. Canterbury
Due to the pouring rain, both teams were soaked by the time the game actually began and the weather made the field conditions challenging. Both teams had a hard time keeping the balls in their sticks and picking up the ball when dropped. Despite the conditions, Millbrook gave the game their all, matching Canterbury goal for goal. Millbrook’s goalie, Jane Maglaque, played her best game of the season and made some great saves. Canterbury scored in the last 5 minutes of the game to clinch the win and Millbrook was unable to retaliate. The team is looking forward to their Parents’ weekend game at Hotchkiss.
