Millbrook Loses to Wilbraham Monson

The Lady Mustangs boarded the coach bus to make the long trip to Wilbraham, MA to take on the Titans of Wilbraham Monson Academy.  As the score suggests, the afternoon game was a one-sided affair.  Millbrook came out flat, and Wilbraham took full advantage of the situation.  Millbrook was down 6-0 at half time.  The girls did come out in the 2nd half with a lot more pride and spirit and got back to the kind of soccer they have been practicing all season long.  While Millbrook would out shoot the Titans in the 2nd half, Wilbraham's defensive unit (and keeper), kept the score sheet clean.

With time running out in the season, today's match-up proved to be a wake-up call, as well as a valuable learning experience.
