Doing Community Better Than the Rest

Our students and faculty say it perfectly, so scroll below to hear in their own words how Millbrook's mission informs their experience every day, in every way.

Our first video, Millbrook Made by alumnus Dan Cohen '86, features students during their first week at Millbrook as IIIrd formers and then in their final week as VIth formers. All share their experiences on the strength of community at Millbrook.

Learning to Serve, Learning to Lead

Millbrook's unique community service program provides students with real responsibility by doing something meaningful for the school—serving others for the welfare of the greater good. It is such a large part of the Millbrook experience, community service is incorporated into the daily academic schedule four days per week and creates many leadership opportunities for students.

Watch the video below to learn about the history of our community service and service learning programs that are at the very foundation of our mission.

Vision - The Best is Yet to Come

In partnership with alumni, families, and friends, Millbrook's mission-driven "For All" campaign will:
  • strengthen community
  • support scholars
  • advance teaching & learning
  • expand access and improve affordability
  • fuel fitness
  • promote health
  • preserve childhood
With the stewardship of an exceptional leadership team and the full confidence and support of the Board of Trustees, we are realizing our aspirations and undertaking the "For All" campaign to support the continuing evolution of Millbrook School.

This is a comprehensive campaign to ensure our facilities advance our mission, values, culture, and close community. A larger endowment and greater, sustained annual support will diversify our student body, fortify our faculty, and strengthen the prorgrams that make Millbrook, Millbrook.

Priorities to be met by our Centennial in 2031 include:
  • A new boys dormitory, currently under construction and set to open in the fall of 2026, will provide a warm space for building community and enhancing faculty-student connections
  • Major improvements and additions to athletic programming and the Mills Athletic Center, including a new hockey rink and field house
  • Expansion of the Flagler Memorial Chapel
  • An increased endowment to support financial aid, faculty salaries, and professional development, and ongoing maintenance of our campus
  • Six new faculty houses, completed as of early 2024
All plans for these continuing improvements are being done in typical Millbrook fashion—with thoughtful and intentional design.
