In weather conditions that were much more favorable to scoring, the Golfing Stangs traveled to Bull's Bridge again to challenge Kent School. In a spirited head to head contest, and despite the stellar play of Zach Copolla and Andrew Purse, the Kent team was able to edge out the victory 208-212. Copolla earned medalist honors with a 1 over par 37. Purse was runner-up with a 38. Dylan Schmalz continued to make contributios to the team by recording a 45. Oliver Kish and Taddeo Galli both scored 46. Cole Hayward's 47 did not qualify for the team score.
The Millbrook golf team traveled to Avon, Connecticut to challenge Avon Old farms and Salisbury. Considering that it was their first match of the year, not to mention their first time on greens this season, the Mustangs played pretty well. The team was led by Andrew purse who shot a 42. Following closely behind were Taddeo Galli, 43 and Zach Copolla, 44. There were three first time players on the squad. Cole Hayward shot 48, Oliver Kish finished with 49, and Dylan Schmalz came in with a 52. There is little time to relax as the team has two practice sessions before their next match.
