Mustangs Drop 2

The golf team traveled to Washington, CT to take on Gunnery and Avon Old Farms.  The weather started out chilly and a bit windy, but about half way through the match the sun came out and conditions improved.  As a team , the Mustangs performed decently.  Individually, all the boys felt that they probably left a few shots out there on the 125 year old course at the Washington Club.  Zach Copolla continued to be the class of the team carding a 39.  Recent call up, Sam Rosenbaum, recorded a 41.  Andrew Purse fell victim to the tight course and fiished with a 42.  Cole Hayward scored 43, while Taddeo Galli finished one stroke behind with a 44.  The number one players for both Avon and Gunnery shared Medalist honors, shooting even par 36.  The team will have to find their games in the next week as they ready for the Kingswood-Oxford Invitational.
