Is There Such Thing As a Good Loss?

If there was ever such a thing as a good loss, this was it. The Mustangs put up a great fight against a tough Kent team. Kent's top four are formidable, and Nga, Sophie, Ingrid, and Ella did their best; each of their 3-0 losses don't reflect their effort, that's for sure. Numbers 5 - 8 provided a different story, though. At #5, Abby Swon, after dropping the fourth game 11-2, and relinquishing her 2-1 lead, battled and was able to come away with a 12-10 win in the fifth - an amazing, gritty ending to her match. At #6, Zoe Bloxam gave everything she had, despite dealing with a cold, and lost 11-6 in the fifth game. #7 Sarah Somerville took her opponent down with focus and well-executed shots without dropping a game. And #8, Caroline Saunders, came away with an impressive 3-1 victory as well - albeit an exhibition match - but crushed her opponent, allowing her only five points after dropping the first game 11-9.
