Memorial Service to be Held for Devin Ressler '02
This Sunday we will hold a service at Millbrook School for Devin Resler, class of 2002, a devoted friend, outdoorsman, and zooie.
Very sadly, he was paralyzed eight years ago in a swimming accident. His family moved down to Georgia several years ago, where he could live more comfortably. Devin died in February, however his parents wanted to gather family and friends at Millbrook because he was his happiest here.
Several alumni from Devin's class will be in attendance in addition to local friends and former faculty members. If you are a member of the extended Millbrook family, knew Devin, and would like to attend, you are welcome.
There will be a gathering in the Flagler Memorial Chapel to start at 4:00 p.m., which will be followed by the dedication of a work of art in Devin's memory, installed in the Frederic C. Hamilton Math & Science Center. Devin's family will then spread his ashes on Ski Hill. A reception will be held at the Trevor Zoo.
