The Millbrook golf team traveled to Agawam, MA for the annual Kingswood Invitational Tournament that included 23 teams from all around New England. They performed well and improved upon last year's showing by finishing 12th. The team scored a total of 427 on a windswept course. Andrew Purse led the squad with a 78. That score put him in a tie for 11th place overall, out of 115. Zach Copolla closed out his Millbrook career in a solid manner with an 82. First year player, Dylan Schmalz, placed third on the team with an 89. Taddeo Galli fiished one behind Dylan with 89. And Cole Hayward rounded out the scoring with a 90. While not quite as strong a finish as the boys were hoping, it was still a solid outing and the youth of the team is a positive sign for the future. A tip of the hat to Loomis Chaffee who won the tournament with a 398.
