Autumn is best at Fall Fest, where fun, food, friends, and fabulous fall foliage abound. Millbrook held its annual sweater-weather celebration on Sunday outside on Flagler Quad, and, as always, it was quite the affair.
The delicious spread of fall-themed treats catered by the dining hall included cider doughnuts and sugar cookies with self-serve frosting and candy corn. Fire pits were set up to roast marshmallows for s’mores, and the infamous grill masters of Case Hall served up a feast of hot dogs and hamburgers. Festivalgoers washed everything down with hot chocolate and fresh apple cider, then got in a few rounds of spike ball to burn off the extra calories.
As good as the food and drink were, though, the real highlight of the day was the sounds of laughter and chatter among friends. Fun is just a little more fun at a place like Millbrook, where every aspect of boarding school life is designed to ensure each student is known and needed.
Next up in our slate of seasonal celebrations are Winter Weekend and Spring Carnival. We look forward to more great times ahead at these and many more student life events!
