Millbrook held its yearly Giving Day on Tuesday and into Wednesday, rallying the community to dig deep and support the
Annual Fund. A critical component of the school’s budget, the Annual Fund makes up the gap between tuition revenue and operating costs, directly supporting every person and program on campus. Mustangs near and far answered the call, helping us meet our goal of 400 donors!
In a nod to Millbrook’s rich history, this year we moved Giving Day to October 14 in honor of Founder’s Day. To help donors adjust to the new date, we extended the campaign deadline, and the Mustang community responded.
Here’s a breakdown of the day’s success in numbers:
- We raised $185,351
- Alumni led the way in participation (220) and amount donated ($63,696)
- The Class of 2003 had the most participants (25) of all classes
- The Class of 1999 led all class years in giving ($15,560)
- We completed five donation matches & challenges sponsored by generous trustees and alumni for $70,285
It’s incredibly rewarding to work together with you all to ensure Millbrook students have every resource they need to prepare for lives of meaning and consequence. Every dollar donated is directly applied to funding essential components of our school—such as inclusive financial aid programs, dedicated faculty and staff, transportation to athletic competitions and arts field trips, and impactful
community service work.
We’re sincerely grateful for your support today and always. And if you missed the opportunity to support Millbrook on Giving Day, that’s no problem at all. You can
contribute to our Annual Fund anytime!
