Three Mustangs Commit to Play at the Collegiate Level

National Letter of Intent Signing Week is upon us, and we have a lot to celebrate, as multiple Mustangs signed their letters of intent to play for collegiate teams today.

Peter Rayhill '17 will be joining the Division I men's lacrosse team at Drexel University, Colby Dunlop '17 will be joining the Division I men's baseball team at the University of Connecticut, and Brendan Hoban '17 has committed to join the Division II Wheeling Jesuit University men's basketball team.

Dunlop, Hoban, and Rayhill have all made outstanding contributions to their respective teams as Mustangs.

"Colby made it clear from day one that his goal was to find the best athletic and academic fit at the Division I level," said Head Baseball Coach Robb Arndt. "He has been dedicated to his vision throughout his time at Millbrook, and we are thrilled to have been able to support him throughout the college process."

Rayhill has demonstrated outstanding athletic consistency and leadership both as a teammate and a captain. "It makes me proud to watch Peter achieve his goals through his hard work in the classroom and on the field. His leadership is contagious, and he promotes good character both on our team and amongst his peers on campus. I have no doubt he will do the same at Drexel," said Head Boys Varsity Lacrosse Coach Michael Williams.

Hoban has also been a strong force in Millbrook athletics, and it has been exciting to watch him evolve as an athlete. "Hoban has been a fierce competitor on the basketball court, and I know he will bring the same level of spirit and skill to the Wheeling Jesuit University team," said his coach, Billy Thom.

Athletics, across all levels, continues to be an integral part of Millbrook's mission and student experience, and our Mustangs who go on to play on collegiate teams are well prepared to compete and lead with grace and grit.

"Our program is stronger than ever, and it is always a proud moment when our athletes realize their dream of playing at the college level," said Mr. Thom.

We look forward to following Dunlop, Hoban, and Rayhill on their collegiate teams and celebrating their further successes.
