Millbrook storms back to force OT

On Friday, Williston made the trip down to Millbrook for a game that was rescheduled due to a snowstorm earlier in the year. The game started out slow for Millbrook, as they were out shot 7-16 and down by two goals in the first period alone. Jamie MacMillan ’09 started in goal for Millbrook and kept them in the game. After the first Intermission, Millbrook got their act together only after Williston scored to take a 3-0 lead. Mat Dubuc ’09 and Will Lee ’10 both scored to cut the deficit to 1, meanwhile rearranging the shot margin to 32-22 in Millbrook’s favor. With only a few minutes to go, Mat Dubuc’09 put in the tying goal, which sent the game into overtime. After the five minute overtime period, the score remained 3-3 and ended in a tie. Millbrook outshot Williston 44-28. Although digging themselves into a whole, the Mustangs did a very good job fighting back after being down 3-0, and coming away with a tie. These two teams will face off again on Saturday at Williston. It promises to be a very competitive and physical game.
