11-run 7th Inning Solidifies Millbrook Win

Millbrook travelled to Hamden Hall for a Monday afternoon game. The Mustangs' offense stayed hot, notching 22 hits—including 5 home runs. The Mustangs scored in four separate innings, including a monster 11-run seventh inning. 

Defensive highlights:

-Abby Hylan ‘25 shot to catch a Hamden Hall steal attempt

-Stella Renzi ‘26 caught a rocket of a line drive at 3rd 

-1-2-3 innings in the 3rd, 5th, and 6th + only 4 batters faced in 2 other innings

-Jazmin Mejia ‘25 collected 7 strikeouts on the day

Offensive Highlights:

- Mejia had 5 hits and 6 RBIs, including 3 home runs!

-Abby Roberson ‘26 had 5 hits, including 2 doubles and her first career home run!

-Haley Malmgren ‘25 had 3 hits, including a home run!

-Hailey Mesard ‘25 had 2 doubles 

-Mejia had 5 runs with Jaicee Downs ‘26 notching 4 runs

-every Millbrook starter had at least 1 hit and scored at least 1 run—a true team offensive effort!
