Zooies of the Week - Tito Crichton-Stuart '19 and Corley deTuro '18
Our Zooies of the Week are Tito Crichton-Stuart and Corley deTuro. They help take care of our red pandas: Cyril, Hope, and Berry.
This marks Corley’s second time this school year as a Zooie of the Week! This past fall she earned that honor while taking care of the Kinkajous. She hopes to look after the lemurs this spring. When she is not at the zoo or in class she is on the ice as a goalie for the girls junior varsity hockey team.
One of the reasons Tito came to Millbrook School was the Trevor Zoo. This past fall he worked on the Zoo Squad and really enjoyed it. The Red Pandas were his first choice, and Cyril is his favorite animal at the zoo. Nathan the ring-tailed lemur is a close second. “It’s really cool to work with endangered animals. It’s so unique. No other high school has a zoo. And it’s great to balance school work with working at the zoo,” says Tito.
