Spanked but not Blanked

Millbrook JVT suffered our first loss of the season at the hands of Hotchkiss JVT.  Unlike last year, however, we were able to take 2 matches from our rival on the hill.  Ashley Rodgers, playing number 2 singles, found herself down 1-5 before collecting herself and battling back to an 8-5 victory.  Olivia Biller traded games with her opponent and almost ended the match at 8-6 but lost the match point.  The match went to 7-7, then 8-7, then 8-8.  Olivia did not give up and clinched victory in a 7-5 tiebreak.  Next opponent on May 1.
