Millbrook Wins Season Opener

On a cold, blustery Saturday, the Millbrook Mustangs welcomed Westover for the official season opener, and the Mustangs were able to secure the win for the day.

Highlights include:

-a beautiful, heads up double play in the 2nd inning with pitcher Haley Malmgren ‘25 fielding the groundball to make the play at home to Abby Hylan ‘25 who then looked the Stella Renzi ‘26 at third 

-every player getting on base multiple times and scoring at least 1 run

-heads up and aggressive baserunning throughout the line-up

Millbrook looks ahead to a busy week, where we will host Suffield on Monday and then travel to Cheshire on Wednesday and Miss Hall’s on Saturday.
