A Hard Fought Battle
While Millbrook may have lost today, they did so with style, fighting the whole way. Two of those five losses went all the way to the fifth game, and another two to the fourth.
Neva, playing at number seven, fought a particularly intense battle. She might have lost that fifth match, but she did so at a score of 19-21, making for the longest overtime I've seen in a match so far this season.
Our lower rank players also had the opportunity to play today, with eight additional unofficial matches between Millbrook and Dutchess Day. While those scores may not count towards a win, if they did, we would be at 8-7 against DDS for the day - showing how much our entry level players have been improving this year.
