Millbrook-Frederick Gunn Dual Meet

The Mustangs had their first home meet of the season on Saturday, October 1^st. The weather was just about ideal for racing – cloudy and cool. Millbrook had a very strong outing on the day against a comparably sized field of runners on the Frederick Gunn team. Millbrook took the first four places, essentially winning the meet with those placement scores. Jack Evan and Jake Newman, who were both unable to compete in our first meet of the season, hopped into the race and fared well with smooth, steady first and second place finishes respectively. Sixth former Rogan Fauci had a strong kick at the end and placed seventh overall and senior Forrest Schmitt notched a top 10 finish (ninth overall). The Millbrook runners who scored and placed in the top 10 overall for this event were as follows:
