Solid Start

It was great to get the season started with a lot of Squash in a Tri-match at Sacred Heart with Hopkins. Two very close matches came down to one match as we lost 3-4 to Sacred Heart and earned our first victory 1 hour later with a 4-3 win over Hopkins.  I was so happy with how the girls’ competed today.  Of particular note was Sadie Wilson who won both her matches at #2.  In the second, she was exhausted and down 1-2, but found the energy to grit out the next two games to earn the win that sealed the match.  Also coming from behind was Josie Duggan at #4.  Captain Caroline Frase and newcomer Elle O’Brien won both their matches quite handily.  Also, An Tran and Tracy He earned their first ever Varsity wins in exhibition play.  Overall, a great way to start the young season!
