Headmaster Casertano kicked off this morning's event, welcoming students and parents from across the country and across the world.
"We are all especially grateful for good news during this challenging time, and this is, indeed, a proud and celebratory moment for these scholars, for their parents and teachers, and for the school. Founded in 1906, the Cum Laude Society stands for scholastic achievement of the highest order. In keeping with our motto and mission, Millbrook students inducted into Cum Laude must achieve the uppermost levels of academic success while enhancing the experience for their peers. They must live Non Sibi Sed Cunctis in the classroom."
"This is a fellowship of scholars whose purpose is to recognize excellence in academic work. As you pursue your college education and possible graduate studies, it is our sincere hope that you accept the honor of membership in Cum Laude as a responsibility, a responsibility to make your contribution to the ongoing search for civility, humanity, and truth, the virtues that Cum Laude seeks to promote."
