Millbrook's Historic Season Comes to a Close

Millbrook traveled to Pomfret for its first-ever NEPSAC playoff game on Wednesday. The Mustangs fell in defeat to a strong number 1 seed in Dexter Southfield. Dexter came out ready to play and thoroughly outplayed Millbrook for 32 minutes. Millbrook came a long way this season, showing terrific cohesiveness and togetherness while improving their record from 7-14 last year to finishing with a 15-9 record this year. This season was a historic one for the Mustangs as the team achieved the most wins in school history, achieved a 10-game win streak, earned their first playoff birth as a member of the NEPSAC, and witnessed the team's first 1000 point scorer in Kimora Jenkins 2021. Millbrook knows they have a lot to learn from their encounter with Dexter Southfield and are excited to return all players for next year.
