Millbrook Knocks off Gunnery 64-45; Conclude Season 15-8

Millbrook closed out the regular season with a well-rounded 64-45 win vs. Gunnery. Gunnery entered the game as the number two team in Class D, and came prepared to play hard and together for 32 minutes. Millbrook came to play and put together one of their most well-rounded games to date. Millbrook played at a fast pace, contested all shots, attained 75% of defensive rebounds, and was able to rebound 50% of their own misses. As a result, Millbrook found themselves up 39-23 at the half and was able to use a unified, collective effort to finish the game 64-45. Millbrook assisted on 16 of 24 made baskets and had tremendous bench energy from the opening tip to the conclusion of the game. Millbrook finished regular the season with 15 wins, the most in school history. They also earned their first-ever NEPSAC Tournament bid. The Mustangs look forward to facing a well-coached, talented, Dexter Southfield team on Wednesday @ 4PM.
