Millbrook Perseveres for 9th Consecutive Win

Millbrook continued their winning ways in a 53-45 victory over Class C contemporary Miss Halls. Miss Hall's executed their game plan well and played hard for a full 32 minutes. Millbrook took a while to get going, and a 7 point flurry put the Mustangs up 28-21 heading into half time. The second half started out with a Millbrook run, and the Mustangs led by as many as 17 points in the 4th quarter before closing out their victory. This win puts Millbrook with a 14-8 record heading into their final game against The Gunnery on Saturday.

Highlights:

• Hours after receiving a scholarship offer from the University of Georgia, Kimora Jenkins put together a monster game scoring 25 points, ripping down 15 rebounds, and dishing out 5 assists. 
• Khya Jenkins played through foul trouble to score 11 points and add 9 rebounds
• Scout Swift played an excellent game scoring 9 points and adding 11 rebounds
• Kate Peek scored 5 points, corralled 7 rebounds and dished out 2 assists
