Millbrook Bests Kent for 7th Straight Win

The energy was high from the start at Wray Gymnasium in front of college coaches, parents, faculty, and students on Saturday afternoon. The play did not disappoint as Millbrook and Class A opponent Kent went back and forth in a high scoring affair. Head of the History Department and friend of the program Marc Clizbe describe the game as a "barnburner". Both teams held 8 point leads at different times in the game before coming to a 47-47 tie heading into the 4th quarter. Both sides brought their A-game offense in the 4th as the crowd was treated to a back and forth energized finished. Kent was hit a 3 pointer with 1 minute and 30 seconds left to put themselves up 1 point. Millbrook maintained their composure, and got touches for all their players, before finding Kimora Jenkins for a turnaround jumper in the midpost to give Millbrook the lead for good. Millbrook executed a textbook defensive position and rebound before throwing the ball ahead to Scout Swift for a layup to put Millbrook up 65-62.
