Millbrook vs. Canterbury

In Millbrook's first ever "Pride" game, organized by VI former and assistant captain, Elise Almgren, the Mustangs would face Canterbury at the Bontecou Rink. After a commanding win against the Saints back in January, it would be a much different game the second time around. Both Bailey Tymeson '20 and Nikki Bessinger '21 would each net goals for the Mustangs, giving them a 2-0 lead heading into the second period. Canterbury put the pressure on but were unable to get by Carina Mancini '21. Halfway into the third period, an unmarked Saint would capitalize, cutting the lead in half. However, with just under two minutes to play, Jeannie Wallner '21 would score a much needed goal to give the Mustangs a bit of a safety net. The Mustangs would wind down clock, earning their 9th victory of the season.
