Other key rushing and passing plays were made by FB Mike Nassif (40 yard run among numerous shorter rushes), QB Matt Amato (30 yard rush among others) and TE Will Weiskopf (30 yard reception).  Offensive blocking improved with the game and key blocks were made by Alex Murray on QB Matt Amato's 65 yard touchdown run among other key blocks, FB Mike Nassif, and the offensive line of G Jack Linnartz, C Jason Weiss and G Stillman Smith.  The Mustang defense turned on the heat after some early Harvey touchdowns, and held the Harvey team to one touchdown in the 2nd half.  Defensive tackling improved with the game to the point that Harvey's running backs were stopped routinely. Key defensive tackles were made by DE Alex Murray, MLB Mike Nassif, DT Jason Weiss, DE Jaylen Thatcher, and CB Matt Amato.  Harvey turnovers were made by DT Jason Weiss (interception), Alex Murray (2 - fumble recovery and interception), and MLB Mike Nassif (fumble recovery).   Kickoff team tackles were made by Ashton Colangelo and Jaylen Thatcher.  The win brings the Mustangs regular season record to 5-1, the best in its 4 year history of 8-player football!  The team awaits its playoff game assignment for next weekend.
