Millbrook Dominates Forman

Millbrook comes back strong at Forman
Millbrook traveled to Forman with a plan to bounce back from last week's game. Both Millbrook offense and defense played tough with excellent results. QB Kevin Justice started off the scoring with an 18 yard TD run with FB Mike Nassif scoring the 2-point conversion. Nassif went on to score two more TDs on pass receptions, where one was an exciting catch. The Millbrook defense held Forman scoreless for most of the first half. RB Matt Amato scored 3 touchdowns, one on a 70 yard punt return, another on a 50 yard run, and his last on an 80 yard kickoff return. TE/DE Ryan Davis made a key block which allowed Amato to score on one of his return TDs. Davis also made a reception to score a 2-point conversion. Other scoring was made by WR Thomas Sullivan on a TD reception, with Amato making the 2-point conversion, one of two made by him during the game. The Mustang defense dominated keeping Forman mostly at bay, except allowing two touchdowns. The defense also scored a TD on a 30 yard pass interception by DT Jack Linnartz, where the deflected pass fell into his arms and he outsprinted Forman into the end zone. A much-needed win for the Mustangs, generating momentum for this Saturday's home night game under the lights against Gunnery.
