Suffield tops Millbrook 50-42

The Millbrook Mustangs competed hard and ultimately fell to a tough, talented, and well-coached Suffield Academy team. It was a solid start to what hopes to be the first full NEPSAC season for many teams in two years. Suffield used a disciplined defensive attack and consistently opportunistic offense to extend the lead at various times. The aesthetics and execution picked up for both teams late in the 3rd quarter when the players realized that the game had been played with a men's ball to that point. More scoring and better ball handling followed for both teams, leading to an exciting 4th quarter period.
